Our Services
Referrals
Our referral process is designed to be straightforward and to ensure that individuals receive the appropriate level of care based on their needs. Here’s an overview of how the referral process typically works:
Assessment: A preliminary assessment is conducted by one of our skilled counsellors to determine the person’s specific needs. This involves a detailed discussion about their substance use history, mental health status, and any other relevant factors. We ask that you be at least 5 days alcohol/substance free before this appointment. We are request that a family member or close friend accompany you to this appointment.
Referral Sources: Referrals can come from various sources, including:
Self-referral: Individuals seeking help on their own.
Family or Friends:
Concerned family members or friends can refer someone who they believe needs treatment.
Healthcare Professionals:
Doctors, therapists, or other healthcare providers can refer individuals who require specialised addiction treatment.
Other Agencies: Social services or community organisations may also refer individuals to the center.
Eligibility and Admission:
After the assessment, our highly skilled and experienced treatment team will determine if you meet the criteria for our program. If so, an admission plan is created. This includes a number of preparatory steps that your counsellor will work through with you.
